It is with great pleasure that we speak with you again. Today we will focus on compassion. Webster’s definition of compassion is sympathetic consciousness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it.
Compassion is part of your true essence, it occurs when your soul realizes that another is in pain. It is your divine nature that is aware of this pain, and seeks to relieve it. As a human being, the way to act on this is through words or deeds. These acts are sometimes called being a Good Samaritan, being a good friend, an act of kindness, a charitable act. All are well meaning and all are selfless. When you are acting on your insights of compassion for another, you are living your highest potential. It is the Godhead within you that motivates you to reach beyond yourself and your interests to help another in need. This is your High Self, your oneness with Creator becoming visible and real in the world. When this happens, know that you are an example for others to step out their own lives and be the greater souls that they truly are.
With thanks for you and this time together.
Yours in Light and Love,
